Agathis Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit (EIN 33-2126500) that organises music and arts events. This page explains what we do with your information when you register for an event or donate.

What we collect

When you register for an event we ask for the participant’s name, gender, age, grade level, teacher’s name, and performance details, plus the name, email, phone number and address of the person registering. We also record the date of your registration and the PayPal reference for your payment.

Why we collect it

To register you, confirm your payment, plan the programme, and contact you about the event you signed up for. We do not sell your information and we do not use it for advertising.

Names shown publicly

Some event pages show a public entry list of registered participants. It shows names and event details only — never your email, phone number, address, or payment information. Email us if you would prefer not to appear on it.

Payments and donations

Payments and donations are handled by PayPal on their own secure checkout. We never see or store your card or bank details — only the transaction reference and the amount.

Emails

You will receive a confirmation email after registering, and we may email you about that event. We do not add you to a mailing list.

Cookies

We use only the essential cookies WordPress needs for the site and its forms to work. Your latest registration is also saved in your own browser so we can show it back to you; it stays on your device.

Who else sees your information

Only the services that run the site: our web host, PayPal, and our email provider. Nobody else, unless the law requires it.

Children

Many participants are under 18. In that case a parent, guardian, or teacher must complete the registration and give their own contact details. Parents can ask to see, correct, or delete their child’s information at any time.

How long we keep it

Registration and donation records are kept for [3 years] for our accounts, then deleted.

Your rights

Email us to see, correct, or delete your information, or to be taken off the public entry list. We will respond within 30 days.
